HAVER Reel Changer for FFS Machines

With the automatic reel changer the FFS machine is supplemented
by a component which substantially enhances its productivity.
The performance can be increased by up to 10 %.
At the same time the operator is given additional space
for inserting the film reel.
By utilizing proven elements of the HAVER FFS technology,
the film ends are sealed ensuring that the actual filling
operation is only marginally interrupted.
In the operating process the transition area from the
old to the new reel is removed and discarded into the
waste position without the operator intervening.
Existing machines can be retrofitted with the reel changer.
The reel changer may optionally be equipped with a lifiting
device for the film reels.
